Welcome to www.OurImmigrants.org, a website designed to encourage family interaction and research. Our ultimate goal is to discover new ancestors and descendants on each of our family lines. This website is dedicated to each of our ancestors who immigrated to the United States over the years, whether it was before the Original Thirteen Colonies, or after the formation of the United States of America. We also study the original geographic locations of our ancestors' homelands before their embarkations.

My name is Chad Nichols and I am an amateur genealogist. I've been involved in genealogy since I was a teenager, but it wasn't until 2002 that I became regularly involved in research. Yes, I'm a self-taught genealogist (therefore the reasoning why I consider myself amateur), although I'm convinced my skills can rival those of professionals. Most of my research time focuses on thorough documentation, especially primary source material. A mere name in a secondary book is not enough and therefore many hours are spent at cemeteries and at the Family History Library (FHL) at Salt Lake City. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I have had conducting the research necessary to make it a reality. Cheers!
