In order to reduce duplicity of research we have created a single database complete with all of our family members. This online database is updated frequently (sometimes as often as several times a day) and is hosted at www.eAncestry.org.

Additions and updates to the database are encouraged. Please send us a gedcom of your lineage as it ties to one of the individuals in our database and we'll be happy to include it. We'd also love to add any documentation including photos that you may have that pertain to our family.

To permit easier queries, we have consolidated some family names into a common surname. This is a general guideline, not necessarily always followed. For example, most of the Van Leer, Vanleer, & von Löhr have been combined into "Van Leer" in the database. Sometimes, however, once an ancestral line "cross the ocean" so-to-speak, we normally leave the surname intact in order to assist in foreign research.
